1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services of Drivers Licence Translations (ABN: 47 685 314 274), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Services Provided

Drivers Licence Translations provides professional translation services through NAATI certified translators. Our services include document translation, interpretation, and certification of translations for official use in Australia and internationally.

All translations are completed by qualified NAATI certified translators who hold the appropriate credentials for the language pairs they work with.

3. Order Process and Payment

Orders are processed through our secure online platform. Payment is required before translation work commences unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods as specified on our website. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

4. Delivery and Turnaround Times

Standard turnaround times are provided as estimates only and may vary depending on document complexity, length, language pair, and translator availability. Average turnaround times are: Self-Service Extract Translations from 1 hour, Extract Translations 1 business day, and Full Translations 1-2 business days.

Drivers Licence Translations utilises the services of independent NAATI certified contractors who operate outside of our direct control. We are not liable for any delays in delivery beyond the estimated turnaround times, as actual completion times depend on the availability and workload of these independent translators. No guarantees are made regarding specific delivery timeframes.

Completed translations will be delivered electronically via email or through our secure client portal. Hard copies can be provided upon request for an additional fee.

5. Quality Assurance

All translations undergo quality assurance processes including proofreading and review. We guarantee that when a NAATI certified translation is requested, the translation will be provided by a NAATI credentialed practitioner who holds the appropriate credentials for the language pair.

6. Confidentiality and Privacy

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client documents and information. All translators and staff are bound by confidentiality agreements.

Client documents are securely stored and destroyed after completion of services unless otherwise requested. We comply with Australian Privacy Act requirements.

7. Revisions and Amendments

Minor revisions to completed translations may be made within 7 days of delivery at no charge, provided the revision is due to translation error rather than client preference changes.

Substantial changes or amendments to completed translations will be charged at our standard rates.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

Orders may be cancelled before translation work commences for a full refund. Once translation work has begun, cancellation fees may apply based on work completed.

Refunds for completed work will only be provided if the translation fails to meet the standards outlined in these terms and cannot be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

Drivers Licence Translations' liability is limited to the cost of the translation service provided. We are not liable for any consequential or indirect damages arising from the use of our services.

Clients are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of source documents provided for translation.

10. Intellectual Property

All rights to the translated documents remain with the client. Drivers Licence Translations retains no ownership rights to client documents or their translations.

The formatting, layout, and presentation of certified translations remain the intellectual property of Drivers Licence Translations.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or the provision of services will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with Australian law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any legal proceedings will be conducted in Victorian courts.

12. Changes to Terms

Drivers Licence Translations reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will apply to all orders placed after the update.

Continued use of our services after terms have been updated constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
